Workshop includes theory and discussion about the trim, live demonstration of the trim, practice trimming, information about transitioning, management and treating hoof pathologies.
With the Australian Certified Equine Hoofcare Practitioner (ACEHP) Leadership team
Jacky Ynema: Has been working as an ACEHP trimmer since 2008. Her client base covers all of the South West and part of the Great Southern.
Her work includes maintenance, transitioning and rehabilitation trimming and management. She has had many success' where there has been little hope of recovery. Jacky also has extensive knowledge in Equine Nutrition.
Sandy Hall: I have been working in the South West as an ACEHP trimmer for the last two years. My work includes maintenance, transitioning and rehabilitation trimming and management. I am also a qualified Equine Sports Massage Therapist with a solid knowledge in Equine Bio-mechanics.
Both presenters’ own horses and have firsthand experience about sound equine management practices that maintain good hoof function.
